How referrals work
You earn your percentage of everything your friends earn, from their first point. Friends count toward your next tier once they earn points from a quest.
Example: a friend confirms a 1,000-point quest - at Tier 1, you earn 50 points.
And your rate never goes down. Referral earnings are credited when your referrals' points confirm. Referrals are optional - your own points never depend on them.

Friends joined counts everyone who signed up through your link. A referral counts as Activated once they have at least one Confirmed quest milestone - points earned from a quest and confirmed. Streak, bonus, prize, or commission points do not count toward activation.

How it works

SideLoot does not make games. We publish quests for free mobile games made by other companies, and we share what a verified completion is worth with the player who earned it.

Play and hit milestones
Start the game through your SideLoot link so the milestone can be tracked, then play: reach level 10, finish the tutorial island, win 5 matches.

Started → Pending → Confirmed
Hitting a milestone moves it to Pending while the milestone is verified with the game and its affiliate network - confirming it really happened on a real device and account. That can take a few days. A verified milestone becomes Confirmed; your dashboard shows every status, including Reversed if a network ever reverses a completion.

Confirmed points redeem from $5 - that is 500 points, at 100 points = $1. You are paid within 24 hours of confirmation for PayPal, gift cards, and gaming cards.

Why confirmation takes time
Games and networks verify completions to keep bots and duplicate accounts from draining the pool that pays real players. That check is the reason SideLoot can pay at all. Pending is not a stall tactic - it is the verification step, and your dashboard shows it honestly the whole way.
The ground rules
Points value, stated plainly: 100 points = $1 at redemption. Redeem from $5. Paid within 24 hours of confirmation. Points have no fixed expiry date; the Terms cover dormancy after 12 months of inactivity. One account per person and per household, no VPNs or emulators - those break tracking and can void points. When do new quests arrive?
New quests are added as games become available, and the board updates to match. On your phone you see the quests that play on it; on a computer you see the full board.
Is this real?
Yes. Game companies pay to find players who genuinely play. A verified milestone completion is worth something to them, and SideLoot shares that value with you as points. Every quest prints its point value before you start, so you can judge for yourself whether it is worth your time.
How do points work?
Each milestone in a quest pays a set number of points, and points convert at 100 points = $1. Points sit as Pending while the completion is verified, then become Confirmed and redeemable from $5 for PayPal, an Amazon gift card, or gaming cards for Steam, Google Play, Xbox, and PlayStation.
What does Pending mean?
Pending means you hit the milestone and the game and its network are verifying it - confirming it happened on a real device and account. That check protects the pool that pays everyone. Your dashboard shows Pending until it moves to Confirmed, or Reversed with a visible reason if the network reverses it.
When do I get paid?
Verification can take a few days; once a milestone is Confirmed, you are paid within 24 hours of confirmation.
Do points expire?
Points have no fixed expiry date. If an account stays inactive for 12 consecutive months, we email the account address - and if it is still inactive 30 days after that email, dormancy actions can apply to the balance, including cancelling point credits. The full policy is in the Terms of Service.
Is this a job? Can I make a living at it?
No - and we will not pretend otherwise. SideLoot is extra, not a job. It turns game time you already spend into points and modest rewards. Anyone who tells you a rewards site replaces work is not being straight with you.

If a game or network reverses a completion - for example, an install that does not verify, or activity that breaks the rules - the points move to Reversed on your dashboard with the reason visible. They are never quietly removed, and reversed points never count toward your balance.

No. Every quest can be started and earned in free play. Some quests include optional purchase stages - they are labeled on the quest card, and skipping them never blocks the free stages or their points.

The arithmetic is flat and public: 100 points = $1, and you can redeem from $5 for PayPal, Amazon, and gaming cards.
The transparency promise
If a completion is reversed, you see it, with the reason. The How It Works page spells out every status - Started, Pending, Confirmed, Reversed - in plain words, before you ever start a quest. If a milestone takes a few days of casual play, we say that instead of teasing a number we cannot back up.

What we collect
We collect the information needed to run SideLoot, verify quest completions, deliver rewards, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests:
- Account information: your account email address and profile details.
- Gameplay completion data: quest starts, milestone completions, and confirmation or reversal results, received via the affiliate networks that verify completions.
- Device and anti-fraud signals: device identifiers, IP address, and related technical signals used to detect duplicate accounts, VPN or emulator abuse, and fraud.
- Payout data: the details needed to deliver the rewards you redeem.
- Contact messages: the contact form is the only form that sends a message to SideLoot. It sends your name if you give it, your email address, and the message you write to support@playsideloot.com.
- Browser storage: we use browser storage on your device for your preferences, a referral code you arrived with, and a same-device backup of a sign-in in progress. Your account balances, quest starts, and ledger are stored on our servers, not in your browser. You can clear browser-stored state by clearing your browser's site data.
Accounts and sign-in
Accounts are created with Google or an email sign-in link. SideLoot never sees or stores your Google password. Your eligibility attestation - that you are 18 or older and in the United States - is recorded at signup, along with the sign-in method you used.
How completion data is shared (real gameplay verification)
For gameplay verification, completion data is shared with the affiliate networks and game partners connected to your quests so milestones can be verified. Under California law this may count as "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time - see the Do Not Sell or Share path below.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of the sharing described in this policy, email support@playsideloot.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share" from the email address associated with your information, and we will process the request and confirm by reply.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to run the site and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage.
We also use advertising and analytics tools from Meta and Google to measure how our ads perform and to understand how people use SideLoot, including actions such as creating an account, starting a quest, a quest milestone being confirmed, and requesting a payout. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may collect information about activity on the site. Under California law this may count as "sharing" of personal information, and you can opt out at any time using the Do Not Sell or Share path described in this policy.
Retention and your rights
We keep contact messages while they are needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for fraud prevention and legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@playsideloot.com.
Terms of Service
Using SideLoot
These Terms govern your use of SideLoot, including the quest board, dashboard, rewards, referrals, and community. By using SideLoot, you agree to these Terms. SideLoot is operated by SideLoot LLC.
Eligibility
SideLoot is available only to adults 18 or older located in the United States. By using SideLoot, you are representing and warranting that you meet these eligibility requirements. Membership is one account per person and per household.
Points
Points are a platform reward unit. They are not currency, have no cash value outside redemption on SideLoot, and are not transferable, assignable or otherwise capable of being sold or exchanged. Points convert at 100 points = $1 at redemption. Point values for each quest milestone are shown on the quest before you start it and are subject to change.
Quest statuses and reversals
Completions move through Started, Pending, and Confirmed - and to Reversed if the game or its network reverses them - as they are verified by the game and its network. A completion may be reversed by the game or network, including, if an install does not verify or an activity breaks the rules of the game or network. Completions may also be reversed by SideLoot - see "No guaranteed payment". Reversed completions move the related points to Reversed, shown on your dashboard.
No guaranteed payment
Points are credited only when a completion's status is Confirmed on SideLoot. No quest, milestone, points credit, or payment is guaranteed. SideLoot may withhold, delay, reduce, reverse, or cancel completions, points or payments, including, where required or permitted by applicable law or regulation, where fraud, abuse, or a violation of these Terms is suspected or confirmed, where the game or its network does not confirm a completion or later reverses it, or in the event of system, tracking, or processing errors. SideLoot is under no obligation to correct or reverse any action resulting in an adjustment pursuant to the foregoing.
Prohibited conduct
Fraud, multiple accounts, VPN or proxy use to disguise location or identity, emulators, bots, and automated play may void points and close accounts.
Dormancy and unclaimed balances
If an account remains inactive for 12 consecutive months, we will notify the email address associated with the account. If the account remains inactive for 30 consecutive days after email notice is sent, SideLoot may take dormancy actions on the account, including cancelling point credits and/or any unclaimed-balance.
Program changes
SideLoot can change, suspend, or end any part of the program (rates, points values, redemption options, eligibility, the Terms themselves) at any time. By continuing to use SideLoot you are automatically agreeing to any such modifications.

Reward list
PayPal, Amazon gift card, and gaming cards (Steam, Google Play, Xbox Gift Card, PlayStation Store Gift Card). Available denominations vary by reward; the amounts for each reward are shown on the Rewards page.
Tax reporting
At $2,000 in payouts in a calendar year, we have to collect a W-9 before further payouts - and gift cards count the same as cash for tax reporting at that threshold. We will notify you when your year-to-date payouts reach $1,500 so there are no surprises.
